I just downloaded this book from Gallivant Books, a brand spanking new publisher up here in Canada. And it’s already giving me shivers (love shivers!). It’s good. Very, very good. And creepy. Check it out!

For those in the romance book industry, it means RT. Officially, Romantic Times Booklove Convention. Me, I call it the Glittery Madness of Love. Because that’s what it is. It glitters (the costumes to melt your face!), madness (think 2,000 women talking book), of love (romance and all that). This year, it was in LA. Can I say how fabulous it was to visit this glorious, decadent, crazy city? Thanks to a very special friend, I managed to find something that made my inner Chihuahua chase her tail with savage glee.

How awesome is that?! For those who can’t see the writing, it’s Chuck Norris!!!!! Well, his star, anyway. So, of course, I had to strike a pose, and what better way than to adopt a kickass KAPOW double fist of fury?! Ok, ok, the goofy face kinda breaks the street rep. But dude! Chuck NORRIS!

That totally made my week.

Also, I’m in the process of adding new free stories to this site, probably under its own page so they’re easier to find. They’ll probably be in .pdf at first while I figure out how to format them for .lit, or Sony or epub.

It’s going to be a good year, I can feel it. To start this grand new year, I’m in the process of updating my Kanaxa site (because as you may (or not) know, I also do art) and adding a bunch of new covers. It should be complete in the next hour or so.

I’ll also add a calendar of releases for the year, so you know what comes out when. I’m hard at work on a brand new series, with book one partly completed. Lots of action, romance in dangerous places and some language in this one.

That’s how Samhain warns unsuspecting readers about to purchase IMPULSE POWER (my story beings on page 83!) the space opera that’s making waves in the industry. I mean…space! Opera! With romance! What’s not to love? I’m just lucky and happy to be in that book. So if you want to, go read an excerpt here. I swore I wouldn’t put myself through The Madness this year. So I started shopping for Christmas presents a bit earlier than usual, and have to say, it makes a BIG difference. I’m done. As in, ALL DONE! The little guy, the big guy, the older guy, the old gal, my good buddy, my pooch, that lady who smiles all the time, a friend I thought long lost, and the trio of squirrels who make my mornings so much fun. They’re all taken care of. It’s the 4th of December, and I’m officially DONE.

I think I’ll watch our family’s favourite x-mas movie and chuckle at What Could Have Been.
